Rainbow Runner is a custom built 42' Trimaran (a sailboat with three hulls). She is U.S. Coast Guard certified to carry 24 passengers, however, we limit our passenger count to 20 adult passengers. Rainbow Runner was originally built for cruising long distances and has now been refitted for charter service and is impeccably maintained by her proud owner and her professional crew. She is a pleasure to sail. |
| We sail from NAWILIWILI SMALL BOAT HARBOR in Lihue. The harbor is a short 5-minute drive from Lihue Airport. Being on the windward side of the island means that we can count on consistent Trade Winds. We are centrally located close to the East Side hotels and resorts (Lihue & Kapaa), and much closer to the North Shore (Princeville & Hanalei) than West Side Port Allen. Our company specializes in shorter trips (1 to 3 hours) and smaller groups.

The Rainbow Runner is available for PRIVATE CHARTERS to small groups at an affordable price. Conditions permitting, there are some outstanding SNORKELING spots within a short sailing distance from Nawiliwili. The KIPU KAI coastline is an awesome stretch of coastline between Lihue and Poipu that offers beautiful possibilities for fun exploration and discovery. Catering, which consists of an exquisite variety of fruits, appetizers or gourmet Deli sandwiches can be included depending on the type of trip you are booked on.
