BIKE & HIKE to JUNGLE FALLS

The complete adventure. A guided Bike tour that starts at the Visitor Center and takes you around the nicest areas of the resort. Learn about local history and island knowledge from your experienced guide. See tropical flowers, wild chickens, our state bird the Nene goose and other native birds.There is a good possibility of excellent WHALE WATCHING during the months January through April from the different scenic look out points along the coast.

Leave the bikes behind and board a van for a short ride to the next leg of your adventure. Here you'll hike 1/2 mile through a lush jungle full of ferns, guava, hau, gingers, passion fruit and more to your final destination, the 50' cascading 'Jungle Falls'. Enjoy the beauty of your private paradise and wade beneath the falls while talking story and laughing with others. After your play-time, a hike back out brings you to our Hale Kau Kau picnic area where you complete your journey with a gourmet deli lunch on a bluff overlooking the valley below. A truly unique experience.

Tours are run Monday through Saturday.

Check-in time: 9:45 a.m. tour returns by 1:15 p.m.

Price: Adult $79.00 + tax

Child 8-12 yrs: $69.00 + tax

(no child under 8 yrs.) must be at least 54 inches tall.

Check-in location is the Kauai Lagoons Visitor Center .

What to bring: Swimsuit under shorts, towel, sunscreen, bug repellent, footwear with good tread for muddy conditions and getting in the water (water shoes or Teva-type sport sandals) no flip-flops, camera and smiles.

Helmets, bottled water and a deli lunch are provided on all tours. A safety briefing and pedaling demo are done before each tour.

Participants should be in good physical condition and be able to hike 8 to 10 flights of stairs. Maximum weight allowed is 250 lbs.

Weather: Island Adventures reserves the right to cancel tours on short notice due to extreme weather conditions (we do not automatically cancel because of rain).

Cancellation Policy: Once booking is confirmed there is a 24-hour cancellation policy in effect.
